Banks brings her infectious energy and positive attitude to every class. As a long-time professional ballet dancer and performer, Banks will have you laughing, sweating, and working as if you are together in the studio.
What is The Banks Method?
The Banks Method is a virtual studio and in-person pop-up. We offer e-classes for pilates, sculpt, barre, HITT,
and dance cardio.
We offer live virtual classes daily + an on-demand library with new classes added weekly. We also provide fun pop-ups events throughout Austin, Texas highlighting local vendors and guest instructors to bring together our community.
Certified. Educated. Expert.
Banks is certified in multiple disciplines. She has obtained 500+ hours of pilates apparatus and mat certifications, 300 hours vinyasa yoga certification, a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. The list goes on with certifications in strength training, TRX, cycling and dance cardio. Banks has created a unique teaching style through her years of instruction in every format while catering to all levels in a class.
From Dancer to Teacher
Banks has intrinsic knowledge of the body through her lifelong passion for dance and exercise. After retiring from a professional dance career, fitness became her safe place to express herself and share that passion with her clients. Driven by her desire to inspire others to move their bodies, Banks loves helping people recognize their potential and achieve their goals — fitness-related or not — and become better, more confident versions of themselves.

"I created The Banks Method™ after years of working as a professional ballet dancer and working in the fitness industry. After quitting ballet I grew a very unhealthy relationship with fitness and myself. I saw diet culture was all around in the fitness industry. Fitness was used as a punishment, with the end goal of unattainable results. It wasn't until I started to teach pilates, barre, and personal training that I truly understood the importance of fitness as a form of self-love. Every single class will make you feel empowered to take the options that work best for your body in a no-judgment space. A place where everyone can move freely, prioritize themselves, and begin to change the way they view fitness!" - Banks
